Wall Clocks

Depending on your purpose, you can find a wall clock to go with most any room. There are a wide variety of wall clocks available, from the most ostentatious to the most simple of designs.

For a room in an institution like a school or a place of business, very basic clocks are often used. These often have no design besides the hands and numbers to keep the time. They can be made of anything from wood to metal to plastic. Typically a basic clock like this will be shaped in a circle.

The design of the wall clock speaks to the centrality of the clock in our society. Perhaps the biggest advantage of wall clocks is that they can be seen from a number of vantage points in the room. It is for this reason, primarily, that wall clocks have historically been used frequently in public schools, and remain common there today.
