Digital Clocks
Unlike analog clocks, which display the time with circular hands and numbers, digital clocks display the time via digital interface, in ciphers as opposed to hands. These clocks often display whether it is AM or PM, and actually have other interface displays as well.
One of the most common uses of digital clock technology has been applied to alarm clocks. Often someone waking up groggy at six in the morning is in no mood to turn on the light and read the hands to determine what time it is.
Since digital clocks are small and inexpensive, they are often incorporated into the design of products such as televisions, microwaves, and computers.
